Tuesday June 30: Show at the Jewelbox Rendezvous
Hi All,
I've got a show coming up, and you're invited. I like music that has meaning and is fun. I like to rock, party and have thoughts inthe same song. Join us on Tuesday, June 30 10PM for two bands that play such music.

First up will be, Change versus Comfort. These talented lads bring the "P" back into prog rock while doing heavy things with guitars and drums. They’re not afraid to mix a crunchy barre chord with a french horn.Expect it be loud but intelligent. Expect to have fun. These guys knowhow to entertain. http://www.myspace.com/changeversuscomfort
The second of two bands shall be my outfit, Enter the Nine. Much likeChange versus comfort we endeavour to write intelligent hard rockingsongs that transcend genre. We'll be starting at 11:30. http://www.myspace.com/enterthenine
As always, feel free to email me if you need more info or if you'd like to help promote the show. alphatexture atgmaildotcom

High Dive Show April 22 2009
Fun stuff for all! High Dive, hmmm. Well, I enjoyed much about the night. Our set was mixed. There were quite a few people there but they all were sitting at the far end of the bar. It was surreal really. I felt like the more I played the farther away they were. I kept saying things like, "We're here for you," and "If everyone could take 24 steps forward it would really help." But the staff was super friendly and the sound was expertly applied.
For our part, we played well and enjoyed ourselves. But I was distracted by what sounded like music coming from a juke box and I badly botched one song. The stage sound was amazing I think the band grew a few steps in development But my equilibrium never quite recovered until I was in the car going home. All the bands were very good. And it was fun to see the results of another show I'd put together. The order of bands was Brownstar, Quick and Easy Boys, Enter the Nine and Bullet Club. If you missed it all I can say is, "Try to come next time!"
Set List:
Hallowed Dirt
Retro Obligator
Essence of the Fight
Baby Cigarettes
Difference Effect
Paradox Inhalation
Marsupial Melcncholia
Timely Vamoose
Blue Tool Fuss
Rival Helium

About
The Great Depression of the third decade of the previous century yielded a super hero comic little known. (Don't bother looking) In the comic were the stories of nine heroes and nine villains. When the nine heroes came forward in a crisis a call was sounded, "Enter the Nine."
Enter the Nine is an independent DIY band based in Lynnwood, WA.
